Bali, Indonesia Holiday!!!

We've just returned from an awesome holiday in Bali. We needed to get away from the grind and Bali is the most peaceful place we have ever been so it did the trick! It was so amazing we took too many photos but I promise they're interesting so, "grab a cuppa and tuck into it" as the Aussies say! Miss & Love Everyone! J&R

Sailing The Whitsunday Islands!!!

Hi All! Raoul and I just returned from the most amazing holiday! We chartered a private yacht and sailed The Whitsunday Islands! We sailed, snorkeled, swam, and slept lots! Mom & Nick In Australia For My Birthday!

Hi Everyone! Here are some snaps from Mum & Nicks trip to Australia! We hit Sydney CBD, Manly Beach, The Blue Mountains, and Sydney Harbour while they were in town and had a great time. We did some sailing for my birthday, went to The Royal Botanic Gardens, ate yum cha, chilled at home and of course... took the Manly Ferry! New Year's Eve 2006!

New Manly Beach House!

Here are some pics of our new Manly Beach House! Yes we live in a city named Manly and our beach is named Manly Beach now! We loved Curl Curl but it was time to leave the gorgeous view and find a home with some modern conveniences like hot water! Our new place is even closer to the hub of it all and is a mere 2min walk to the beach! Come see us!!! We have central air now Jacqui!!!

Updated Aussie Holidays!

Business Roadtrip from Sydney to Albury, NSW!

Last Wednesday I drove 400km from Sydney to Albury, NSW to meet with customers out in, "the bush". Despite the drive being very long and not having any cell phone reception it was one of the most beautiful trips I've ever taken! Here are some snaps from my travels and some snags I ran into along the way!!!

Raoul's B-Day & 1yr AU Anniversary in Port Douglas!

For Raoul's birthday, our 1yr anniversary in Australia, and the Queen's Birthday long weekend, we flew into Cairns, and spent a few days in Tropical Northern Queensland. We went snorkeling on The Great Barrier Reef, hung around in sleepy Port Douglas (ate, drank, & slept), walked through Mossman Gorge, and drove up to the tip of Cape Tribulation in the Daintree National Forest.

Waratah Park (Home Of Skippy)!!

While driving around Raoul and I saw a sign with a roo on it. We were instantly drawn to it and happened upon a wildlife sanctuary that despite not being as cool or interactive as most zoos was the most humane and totally satisfying for those on either side of the fence.

Dell Sailing Trip! (250+ snaps)

In May Dell management organized a sailing regatta on Sydney Harbour as a reward for Dell AU & NZ hitting our Q4 targets. It was a perfect day and I spent all of it in the tender using our new camera!

This walking trail was amazingly beautiful! What a day to test out the new camera!

Hunter Valley Wine Region w/ Madpie & Dot!

Raoul and I took Madeleine and Dot to what is called by Sydneysiders as, "The Hunter" which is The Hunter Valley Wine Region. This region is home to some of the best wineries in Australia, fantastic golf, gorgeous resorts, very nice restaurants, and some incredible landscapes. Not too many photos in this one sorry!

Sydney Royal Botanic Gardens w/ Madpie & Dot!

Here is a quick snapshot of one of my new favorite spots in Sydney and vantage points of our beloved bridge and opera house! The Botanical Gardens are, from our perspective, an absolute, "must see" for Sydney. These pictures do them no justice!

Aussie Birthday!

Ralph surprised me with Roses when I woke up and then we had brekky at the beach. Just a few snapshots of the day here! We were supposed to see Kanye West & U2 the night of my birthday but teh tour has been postponed. Instead Ralph pulled together my favorite people for a great night at Opera Bar & Altitude!

My First, "Hen's Night"!

After living in Australia for 3 days Ralph and I went to a pub called, "The Steyne Hotel" to watch the, "State Of Origin" Rugby match in Manly. We were SO confused and quite audibly I presume since the guy at the table next to us starting making fun of us for not understanding the rules of rugby. Long story long that bloke turned out to be Geoff Hazel and with him was his lovely fiancee Georgia Kalff! Georgia's Hen's night was Feb 4th and here are some of the photos from the night! I hope to have more soon.

Our First Sail in Sydney!!!

Hi Everyone!

Saturday Ralph and I took our sailboat our for our first sail! The weather was perfect and the wind couldn't have been better to us! Here are a few shots of us in heaven. Come to Australia and sail on our boat with us! We plan to sail her from Botany Bay up to Pittwater after we return from the states and will have some great shots from that adventure I'm sure.

Hi Everyone! We arrived back in Sydney Monday morning after taking the red eye from Singapore. We had a great time and absolutely fell in love with Singapore! Aussie Public Holidays 2006 & Your Vacation!

Here are the Aussie Holidays for everyone to check out. Our friend Jeff will be in da house from St. Patty's Day through April 2nd and then Ralph's mom is here from mid-April through the end of the month. Mom & Nick may come out in May and then we're open through October when I hope to be traveling home for Taryn & Jacqui's showers, Hen's Days (Aussie term for Bachelorette Party) and Weddings in Florida!

We did it! We bought our first sailboat and are SO excited to get her all to ourselves! In the spirit of The Boston Red Sox 2004 Season we will affectionately name her, "Why Knot Us?". Can't wait to take you all out on it when you visit!

Maggie & Emma Are Home!

Just a quick snapshot of their happy faces yesterday when we picked them up from the quarantine station. We took them for a long ride, a swim, and then brought them home to their new house. They jumped right back into their old routines and there is dog hair everywhere! We couldn't be happier!!!

We had a GREAT time while Mom and ML were here in Australia and hope they did too! Mum left yesterday which was really sad but we a great time together. We accomplished so much while they were here! Hopefully some of these photos will make everyone else want to come see us :)

Puppy Prison!
